April visits to Soweto charities affirm incredible work done by the NCCF

| 22 May 2017

The Nashua Children’s Charity Foundation (NCCF) made yet another exciting visit to eight assisted charities in April.

Inspiring teenagers from the charities shared their aspirations of being doctors, nurses, lawyers and fashion designers with the NCCF team. The two supported special needs organisations, Ratanang and Nkanyezi Stimulation Centre, amazed the team with the care and love they give to the handicapped children in their care.

One of the NCCF-supported charities in Soweto, Embizweni Day Care, has been relocated to yet another Motsoaledi site, which is still unsuitable for the 65 children in their care. But with the promise of an RDP facility we wait in hope. The NCCF were welcomed and thanked with beautiful singing and dancing at the Orlando Children’s Home. The 150 children at Thembelenkosini gave a grateful thanks to the NCCF for their continued support.

Joy at Work, led by Sylvia, and with 85 children in its care, took turns to impress with individual and group singing. Finally, the NCCF team was overwhelmed by 500 eager children excited to meet us at the Santu/HIV/AIDS Relief Centre. One of the caregivers, Angel, informed the NCCF the number of children grows significantly from week to week. The NCCF continues to provide assistance to these charities and find ways to help caregivers provide for the basic needs of thousands of children.
