What a day, and another 200 children went home with tummies full and smiles on their faces!

Thank you so much to The Nashua Children’s Charity Foundation volunteer team, the bikers led by Niall, the Pick ‘n Pay team, Leroy, PR Worx, the Nandos Savoy team and of course the 8 charities that celebrated yet another special Mandela Day party with us.

Our heartfelt thanks to Nandos for your donation towards the cost of the delicious lunch; to Pick ‘n Pay for the party packs that you donated to every child, the fruit and vegetable donation and for yet another huge and delicious cake; and to the bikers for thrilling the children and adults alike with your noise, display, and incredible help in handing out the meals, the cake and cleaning up with us. The “fruit loop” necklace team led by Tasha occupied the children as they arrived with such a fun activity and of course they were all left with something around their necks to eat on the way home. We have to thank you Rose for letting us host the party at Banakekeleni Orphanage; to ADT for providing security and to the Bramley Police for their presence and closing off the road for us. The Smilemakers “very tall” balloon team were a hit, definitely making more than 200 balloons as the children soon realized that if theirs popped, they could just line up for another. The adults finally had a short break and a chance to eat when Gary, the magician took over and enthralled all the children with his box of tricks.

The photos say it all, showing another memorable event from The Nashua Children’ Charity Foundation.

THANK YOU
