Fun Day at King Edward School

| 11 September 2011

The Foundation together with the Junior and Mini Council organized for 234 children from Abangani Enkosini, Bambi Care, Fountain of Love, Matjele Community Centre, Thembelenkosini, Thusanang and Thuthuzela to participate in a fun day at King Edward School in Houghton on Sunday 11th September. On arrival they all received cupcakes and juices and were then lead off to the various carnival stalls by the Johannesburg Junior Councilors who each took charge of a charity.

The children got involved in the skittles, tombola, jumping castles, fishing, face painting, colouring in, icing of biscuits, and watched the magician at work. Hotdogs, chips and juices were a welcome lunch break for a crowd of hungry youngsters, and they all went home with a prize and a goody bag. A great day of fun filled the lives of some of the children from the charities that we support.
