The Nashua Children’s Charity Foundation provides approximately 500,000 meals per month to more than 13,000 children. It also purchases clothing, cleaning material and toiletries for charities as part of its sustainable living projects, and treats children to various outings, including trips to Sun City, the zoo and numerous shopping excursions.

The Foundation also focuses greatly on education opportunities through the provision of school uniforms, stationery, transportation and assistance with school fees. Although education is its key priority area, the Foundation also believes in improving the basic living conditions of their supported charities, which includes renovations, additions and alterations to the homes that the Foundation cares for. Beds, blankets and bedding are also provided by the NCCF.

The Foundation is Empowerdex rated at 95 percent. In addition to the 58 children’s organisations that the NCCF assists on a regular basis, the foundation also gives ad hoc support, as often as once a month through additional appeals that they receive. This support has included food, clothing, toys, linen, school uniforms, bags and stationery to children living in the Waterwax and Mangolongolo squatter camps,as well as sports and educational equipment donated to Laerskool Hekpoort which is a no fee, farm school. Many more charities have benefited through this form of ad hoc assistance.
