A vacancy exists at Nashua (Pty) Ltd for a Head of Solutions reporting to Chief Sales Officer.
PURPOSE:
To direct and enable the Franchise Channel to grow business opportunities and identify key strategic areas in the Solutions and Services market to assist Nashua in becoming the leading Total Workspace Provider. Transform Nashua’s sales organisation into a consultative ICT business.
MINIMUIM REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in managed services OR in consultative selling & solution sales.
- A professional presence, vocabulary and communication skills are essential.
- Sound business acumen with a good understanding of the overall business and industry sector.
- Strong commercial background with a proven senior management experience.
- Proven ability to lead, manage and develop a managed service sales division.
- Full understanding of best practice solutions selling and the management of channel together with technology.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Currency Management
- Lockers and Spaces
- Managed Document Solutions (MDS)
- IT Services
- Service Operating Centre (SOC)
- These areas will henceforth be referred to as Nashua’s Solutions and Services.
- Design strategies that will allow Nashua to successfully implement across all our Solutions and Services Stacks, to ensure uptake within the Nashua Channel network to grow not only sales, but also to create a substantial and sustainable annuity revenue stream.
- Independently and collaboratively strategize for solving Nashua Pty Ltd and franchise-level challenges to increase overall revenue.
- Ensure a deep understanding of market trends, competitor positioning and offerings, key drivers of the business as well as industry best practice.
- Analyze the metrics and identify patterns for business opportunities in the Franchise channel. This will include establishing key verticals to sell into backed by sales strategies per vertical.
- Accountable to ensuring that Nashua meet and exceeds the solutions and services revenue and profit budgets.
- Develop a sustainable go to market strategies within the respective solutions.
- Maximize sales performance on monthly sales budgets, targets and goals.
- Ensure that there is a sufficient commercial approach applied to selling underpinned by a strong technical understanding of all Nashua’s solutions within the Franchise Channel.
- Protect and increase the profitability of the sales revenue stream within current Customers and New Customers.
- Develop and manage the Divisional financial budget for the division, inclusive of sales, expenses, overheads and technology.
- Effective use of resources across Southern Africa to minimize costs and optimize performance.
- Ensure that the team demonstrate Nashua’s solutions understanding and capability in customer facing situations.
- Optimise and structure the Service Operating Centre (SOC) in line with Nashua’s strategy and to enable growth.
- Replicate the SOC at an appropriate scale throughout the Franchise network in order to provide for a sufficient Level 1 to 3 support to the customer base. This will be inclusive of:
- Remote monitoring
- Remote Servicing
- Self-Healing
- Asset Management
- Software Assurance

- Internal: Executives, Sales, Finance, Product, HR, Service Delivery, IT, Project Office.
- External: Franchise Holders, Customers, Service Providers, OEM’s, etc.
Other Assignments
To perform any assignments when requested to do so by the Chief Sales Officer and any other Executive Officer of Nashua (Pty) Ltd.
