A vacancy exists at Nashua Paarl & West Coast for a Service/Workshop/Parts Controller reporting to the Technology Director.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring Log all calls as per the service desk log calls procedure. Ensuring that tasks are logged for every product or product line sold by the company, even in the case of 3rd party installers. Managing of outstanding calls and escalating of outgoing calls, compiling of quotations etc. 

Requirements:

• 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role

• NQF Level 4 qualification

• Able to work well with others

• Able to work under pressure and driven to get work done on time

• Attention to detail

• Computer literacy (MS Office)

• Experience on Service Now, Proact, ECN- Albatross and Papercut will be an advantage

• Own reliable transport

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Allocate tasks to the engineers as per the Service Desk Outstanding Calls Procedure. 

• Always ensuring outstanding tasks are managed within the set timeframes as per the MTTR and FTF targets set out by Nashua Head Office and the NPP minimums by continually searching for ways to improve service and keep expenses to a minimum by allocating engineers to tasks via the most economical and fastest routes.

• Creating incidents on Nashua Service Now.

• Assist customers by resolving queries telephonically

• Boot stock take, as prescribed in the boot stock procedure

• To follow up on all outstanding taken calls i.e. awaiting spares, etc

• Control machines in and out of workshop

• Ensure that all workshop calls are completed

• Control of loan/short term rental machines

• Remote assistance

• To assist the engineers when they log off parts on a service call, parts are to be booked out on the correct engineer account, as per the “booking out and picking of parts” procedure

• Ensure that all workshop calls are completed

• Liaise with franchises any request or changes as required

• To liaise with Nashua Ltd/Acuo via email (with copies to Ops Manager and Ops Director), ensure that all Work-Wide issues are timeously addressed

Other Assignments:

• To perform any assignments if and when requested to do so by Technology Director and any other Director of Nashua Paarl & West Coast.
