Solid and proven technical knowledge of office automation products, tracking software, telecoms and surveillance (advantageous), full understanding and exposure on MPS/MDS environments.
Highly motivated, and results driven.

Minimum education requirements :
Relevant Diploma or bachelor’s degree will be an advantage.
CompTIA A+, N+ certified or equivalent, Microsoft qualification. (MCSE, CNE, etc).
Duties and responsibilities :
To directly supervise the engineers who report to him/her and to direct them in the execution of their duties.
To assist colleagues in the day-to-day running of their areas.
To keep the General Manager informed of the status of the service activities for which he is responsible and to initiate or recommend appropriate action where indicated.
Monthly performance reporting on all engineers and team financials.
To work on a regular basis with each engineer, and to develop their skills and set meaningful objectives to further their development.
To maintain an awareness of customer needs through regular field trips and service call visits with engineers.
To maintain spare parts and other divisional expenditures within budget limits.
To ensure that the engineers are trained on new products when training is available. (Technology Training roster)
To conduct regular team meetings.
To maintain regular checks on engineers’ tools, dress code etc.
To perform any assignments when requested to do so by the Managing Director, Financial Manager and General Manager of Nashua Paarl & West Coast (Pty) Ltd.
