12 selfless NCCF hours make all the difference in rural Limpopo
The Nashua Children’s Charity Foundation (NCCF), accompanied by Aluwani’s remarkable team of volunteers, visited Ga-Dikgale in rural Limpopo this month.Travelling on the dusty roads of Ga-Dikgale in generously donated Europcar vehicles and a DSV truck, the NCCF delivered much needed pallets of groceries to 3800 needy children.
The sheer scale of this project called for ample hands on deck and would not have been possible without Lifestyle Galaxy’s shared passion and substantial donation to the NCCF. Lifestyle Galaxy supports the NCCF as its official charity in South Africa and helps to realise many NCCF projects for our 75 assisted charities.
The NCCF salutes Makro Woodmead for the generous discount on the groceries and for prepping all the pallets, as well as Nashua Limpopo for the kind donation of mielie meal and Cremora for each of the 20 drop-in centres. Special thanks also go to the dedicated photography and videography teams for capturing the heart of the experience, from the warm welcome at each centre to the humbling gratitude of each recipient.
The incredible efforts of the NCCF volunteers were rewarded with a delicious lunch cooked over a wood fire, followed by a surprise visit from queen Makgosi Clarah Dikgale at the Kokona Drop-In Centre. With the help of our amazing NCCF volunteers, we’re looking forward to another purpose-driven adventure in Ga-Dikgale in the not too distant future.
The NCCF continues to provide assistance to each charity and find ways to help caregivers provide for the basic needs of thousands of children.
