When asked, “what did you like most about today?” 40 children all chorused “EVERYTHING!”. The Nashua Children’s Charity Foundation was able to spend the day having fun at Sun City thanks to all of the charities incredible sponsors. The children enjoyed a breakfast of Mugg & Bean muffins as we started our coach journey, soon followed by an assortment of snacks provided by Nashua North East sponsored goody bags.
We were met at our destination by Mankwe Gametrackers, who were waiting with their game viewing vehicles to whisk us off to the Pilanesburg Game Reserve, a thrilling experience for the youngsters who have never visited a game reserve before. And why were we late for lunch at The Food Factory – an elephant blocking the road and then a lion that had to chase a zebra! Burgers, chips, juice & ice creams thanks to The Candy Store saw us on our way to The Magic Company where the welcoming team handed each child a tub of tokens. There the race began to win tickets as the squeals of delight filled the venue. As the day came to its end, armed with bags of gifts, it was time to board the bus home.
