It was a remarkable day watching 50 children smile for 6 hours thanks to City Sightseeing Tours, Sci-Bono, Constitution Hill and James Hall Transport Museum.
With a the added joy of a bag packed with lunch, snacks and refreshments thanks to our friends from Pick n Pay Hypermarket Woodmead, the group of excited children rushed up the stairs of the open top bus, and despite the early morning chill, waved to anyone and everyone as we made our way through the city. Sci-Bono delighted all with the scientific experiments and activities on offer. The history of Constitution Hill with the prison and court held the children spellbound and resulted in many interesting questions to our knowledgeable guides. And finally, the fun of walking through the James Hall Museum listening to the story of transport through the ages and being able to climb aboard an old tram and library bus was nothing like the children had ever experienced in their young lives.
