A taste of the generosity of Gauteng, although these photos can never do justice to the outpouring of love and generosity given to 1000s of children supported by the Nashua Children’s Charity Foundation.
Despite the challenges our country is currently facing with the Covid-19 pandemic, we were still able to distribute groceries to 14 of our larger assisted charities with hopefully more to come. The food was received with many tears of joy by the charities who were deeply worried by the impact the current situation would have on the children. Not to mention the huge delight from the children at seeing the delivery of the food parcels.
A massive thank you has to be given to Dani, Loren, Justine, and Ricci who opened their homes to receive the goods. Thank you all for your drop off of food at an estimated value of R200K as well as for the donations into the NCCF bank account with which more groceries will be purchased. It took just 48 hours, thanks to social media, to spread the love and not the virus. It is this generosity and camaraderie of spirit that will see us overcome the hardship of this unchartered and challenging time.
