On the 27th of January 2017, Nashua and Hyatt Regency hosted a care-givers lunch to thank house mothers, managers and caretakers from 75 of the Nashua Children’s Charity Foundation (NCCF) children’s homes.
Dressed up and thrilled to be welcomed with gift bags and waiters, guests seated themselves and waited for the function to begin. The day started with a performance of Zulu songs and praise and a warm welcome by NCCF Director, Helen Fraser. Principals from The Cradle of Hope and MC Kharbai School shared information and updates on their charities and NCCF’s tremendous involvement.
Nerissa Roberts then gave a presentation on social market platform, forgood. Forgood is an online platform that connects passionate people with needy organisations – skills, goods, services and information can easily be offered and requested. This will benefit NCCF charities as they can ask for donations on the website.
The NCCF care-givers were treated to a mouth-watering buffet. The momentous day presented an opportunity to network, as well as a celebration of incredible work done.
