Orlando Children’s Home was established in 1940 and is managed by members of the community. The home is registered to accommodate 60 children who are abandoned, orphaned, abused, and neglected and many infected by HIV/AIDS. This home accommodates children as young as three months old. Some of the programmes offered by this home include running a Skills Development Centre and an outreach programme aimed at teaching children how to protect themselves from abuse.
