Nashua (Pty) Limited is committed to ramping up its service offerings, that include innovative document management, and telephony and data solutions, as the brand strives for a more efficient customer-centric business model.
As a wholly-owned South African company, Nashua is able to provide customers with state-of-the-art technology from globally recognised and trusted sources. Tracing its origins back to 1973, the brand has a long heritage of providing pioneering products and solutions to the South African marketplace.
As markets are changing and evolving, Nashua Mobile (a sister company of Nashua (Pty) Ltd) has had to exit the marketplace as it was no longer representing an effective business model. The decision to close down Nashua Mobile was taken because it had become unprofitable and unsustainable over a number of years due to fierce competition in the mobile sector. Nashua Mobile has taken every measure to ensure that service levels have been maintained and that customers are migrated seamlessly.
Nashua (Pty) Limited remains adaptable and keeps improving in response to the market and customer needs. The closure of Nashua Mobile has no impact on Nashua (Pty) Limited or any of its service offerings.
Today, Nashua offers a comprehensive array of integrated business solutions that radically cut costs and improve compliance and auditability, while streamlining workflow. These include enterprise content management, document management software, print management and cost recovery software, a wide array of multifunctional devices and other top-of-the-range printing products, plus in-house financial solutions to assist customers. Cloud, Telephony and Network services are also being included into Nashua’s product set, making the company a truly integrated business solutions partner.
Nashua’s winning formula has, for example, enabled the successful reduction of USABCO’s print costs by 30%, cut DR Naidoo’s time to write up patient notes from 5 minutes to 30 seconds, and saves IT staff at Harry Gwala Municipality up to 30 hours per week. Kearsney College replaced their ageing printers and a cost-per-click solution has helped to reduce their annual printing costs by R200,000.
Within the education sector, Nashua has also partnered with the University of Cape Town, North-West University, Maritzburg College, Durban High School and the Open Learning Group, offering customisable document management solutions that have saved millions of Rands while enhancing printing processes and workflow, putting the needs of staff and pupils first.
Nashua also works with logistics companies, real estate agencies, medical practitioners, municipality departments and retail stores, to mention a few, saving them all valuable time every day by increasing efficiency, while reducing costs.
In total, Nashua has nearly 700 technicians, each visiting on average 20 customers a week. These highly-skilled technicians are backed by thousands of sales, development, finance, admin and marketing employees who all strive, every day, to put the customer first.
Nashua will continue to be strong and consistent in its entire service offering and will remain the one-stop shop for South African businesses to streamline workflow, automate their offices and efficiently manage their data and documents.
