What a day – “none of us have ever been to Sun City so we were so excited and could not believe our eyes when we walked on to the ‘beach’ and saw the waves” were the words echoed by so many of the Bongani Community Development Centre children when they arrived at the Valley of Waves.

We would like to thank Natalie, Virginia, Elias, Lebogang and Patrick for arranging such a special day for the boys and girls who looked on in amazement as piles of towels arrived, umbrellas were set up and life-jackets provided for all who could not swim.

The delicious lunch donated by Steers was so enjoyed by all as we pass on thanks to Richard and his team. Ice creams from The Nashua Children’s Charity Foundation ended a perfect day for everyone as they boarded the luxury coach for the long drive home.

We would like to thank Dean Naidoo of Nashua North East for their generous donation of sun screen, breakfast packs, goody bags, as well as water and apples for the journey home.
