Recent tests carried out by Buyers Laboratory (BLI) Europe on Ricoh devices sold by Nashua Limited have once again demonstrated that the company is able to offer its customers superior products and solutions.

BLI Europe, which is a leading authority and provider of critical intelligence on the imaging industry, performed tests on the Ricoh Aficio MP C4502, MP C5502 and MP C3002 printers.

These tests proved the efficiency and comprehensive performance of these A3 colour machines, with each one receiving a rating of ‘Highly Recommended’ in BLI Europe’s lab test report, with the conclusion that they offer good ease of use for general office users.

The reports on both the MP C4502 and MP C3002 noted that BLI technicians were impressed with their outstanding productivity in both print and copy modes, and with both the PCL 6 and PostScript drivers. It added that both the MP C4502 and MP C5502 continue to set a new benchmark for devices in their class with maximum volumes reaching 50,000 impressions per month.

An environmental report was also carried out on the MP C4502, for which it received a ‘5 Star Award’. BLI’s energy consumption job stream test noted that this machine uses significantly less energy than any other competitive unit tested in its class, which results in a 50% lower than average projected annual energy cost. Its efficiency was emphasised in the report, as it stated that when running 75% and 100% recycled paper, the MP C4502 performed flawlessly, without a single misfeed occurring during 20,000 impressions.

BLI’s reports further emphasised the high productivity and reliable performance of all three devices, stating that its technicians consider the products a tough act to follow. The MP C3002 completed two-months of rigorous testing with just one misfeed and no service calls over the course of 150,000 impressions, while the MP C4502 and MP C5502 also demonstrated flawless reliability with no misfeeds or service calls during their respective tests of 200,000 impressions. All three devices also earned high marks from BLI’s technicians for black print quality.
