Nashua Limited is once again leading the way in ensuring that companies’ office processes are more efficient and streamlined, with the release of the internationally renowned Ricoh Aficio MP4002 and MP5002 printers.

These multi-functional printers (MFP) have a host of cutting-edge technological features designed to enhance office functionality, productivity and cost-effective performance, including advanced controller technology through the GW+ controller, improved paper handling and a high security element.

A relevant example of this efficiency is the tilting operational panel with a fully customisable interface, which allows a user to create a personal home screen in which they are able to fill in personal preferences, as well as add and remove icons. Goslin notes that users can subsequently manage their work processes better as they can programme a frequently used job operation on the home screen, with the single click of a button.

The devices have also been developed to enhance web functionality through built-in browsers that allow users to surf external websites and print out the displayed page directly from the operation panel of the MFP.

Further advantage is provided in the form of added security measures, the device is able to overwrite or encrypt the data stored on the hard disk drive of the MFP. This action, Goslin says, prevents data on the hard disk from being leaked before the machine is disposed of, and also allows overwriting of temporarily stored data.
