Nashua’s solar solutions make it easier for businesses to switch to solar power

There are certain undertakings in life that can seem more bothersome than they’re worth. Like starting a new gym membership or switching to a new bank. You may believe that they’re  too hard or too expensive to bother with. But, in reality these transitions can result in big benefits down the road.

The very same logic applies to solar panel installation. You are probably tired of load shedding and high monthly energy bills but dread the hassle of converting your business to solar. However, using solar power as an alternative energy source is not as scary or difficult as you think. In fact, it can be efficient, stress-free and well worth it. All you need is the right partner on your side.

Meeting your business’ current energy needs and future plans

Nashua offers on-staff experts and a breadth and depth of experience to help you select a solar solution that will provide value to your organisation for years to come. The process of migrating to solar energy has a lot of moving parts. To help get things off the ground and ensure you get the best results from your investment, we’ll do a conclusive energy audit. Understanding your unique energy profile and future business needs enables us to give you a clear path to business value and a personalised solar energy migration plan.

When deploying an energy audit, we are looking at where, when, why and how energy is being used. The goal here is to ultimately improve energy performance, reduce energy waste, and reduce running costs so that your business can become more efficient.

Many service providers look straight to the customer’s municipal account and make a recommendation based on the historic energy consumption. Nashua’s solution goes a step further to monitor and observe individual appliances throughout the business minute-by-minute. Our load management software and devices bring us a lot closer to your actual load on the grid. You get full transparency of what energy you are using – down to the real-time cost of running your servers or switching on your printers.

When it comes to solar energy implementation, Nashua gives you the flexibility to go big bang or go slowly. You have the option to do a single big installation with a once-off payment, and where your business isn’t fully prepared to make a complete leap to solar power, we offer a phased migration.

In a multi-phase strategy, your business can choose to install an inverter and battery backup system, then eventually add a hybrid solar solution. This means that your alternative energy solutions and Eskom’s power supply will coexist, enabling you to migrate to solar efficiently and cost-effectively.

The upfront financing challenge is one of the biggest barriers for business owners looking to switch to solar power. However, keep in mind that not only is solar now the most affordable form of electricity but it also saves money long-term as they quickly work toward paying for themselves.

That being said, if your business is not in a position to cover the initial outlay – either due to insufficient cash reserves, a need to conserve working capital, or because it’s a start up  – we have financing options so that you don’t need to stress the cash flow of your business.

Our business financing services can be customised to match your operational — needs and goals. From solar PV panel leasing to power purchase agreement (PPA), we’ll work with you to make an informed business decision – one that offers the most advantages to your unique business position.

You’ve been depending on the national power supply system for years and quite possibly experienced loss of operational capabilities, productivity, and profitability. Now, it’s time to take the uncertainty out of your electricity supply and harness the power of solar energy.

Nashua provides you the assistance, technology and services required to make your migration to solar energy seamless and painless. Don’t feel like you need to walk into uncharted territory alone, we’re here to help. Contact Nashua today to learn more about our alternative energy solutions.
